Cat Lady Hair

The other day my 5 year old cousin gave Lucy a bit of advice while we were watching my absolute favourite sports dude on TV.

"Lucy, If you want a chance with him (Sonny Bill Williams) you need to make your hair straight and not curly so you'll be pretty"

Wow. Since when did her crazy cat lady hair become ugly? I thought she looked pretty cool walking around town with her sexy tousled 'do. I hope shes right, because I'm taking Lucy to the hairdresser tomorrow; hope she doesn't regret it haha. I love kids brutal honesty (Even when they are SO wrong hehe).

Wiki wiki Andre Yo!

Just tried uploading the mix onto a music mp3 player. Didn't work unfortunately all the files I uploaded were in .wma format instead of .mp3. Perhaps I will upload them on my brothers myspace. However, I'm really attached to the current songs that have been there for forever. There's 31 songs in the mix, I'm hesitant to upload it because stupid stanley would not mention my name there once. Luckily I got to choose all the songs. I'm sorry for this boring post but I'm just so excited that I actually contributed to one of these (the first one I made with my brother I had hardly any input so I guess that doesn't count haha), makes me feel hardcore. Badly.

See you.

Ps. Enclosed is a picture of my girlfriend, I call her girl DJ (Sorry guys, just had to find a way to mention girls so I can piss off anonymous comment person) hehe.

edit: This feels foolish to add to this already awesome blog but I feel I've experienced some sort mental awakening these past two hours leading to my ultimate insight into women. It's freakishly mind-boggling. Step Up's on TV at the moment, totally not into it so yeah I'm back on here.

But anyway there's been an issue that's been bothering me lately. Surprisingly I don't actually feel bad but annoyed. What I don't understand with women right, are how into you they can appear but you can be disposed of so easily. HAHA yeah it's not like I'm saying I can keep my focus on one particular person for so long, however it's the fact that it's like they require some sort of... reciprocal love or else there there's no way they can like you for any time longer. In addition, they have the guts to tell me that I have hurt them so badly and they moved on so quickly because they deserve it. I personally don't believe you should tell someone you can replace so easily that they hurt you so bad. Because if I felt a heart wrenching pain for a girl, how could I ever move on in a matter of days!

And of course this isn't a hate blog, but it's what I'm feeling at the moment. So I decided that I will never tell a girl I love her unless I feel she's the type of girl I can hold onto for a long span of time, regardless of whether she feels the same way too. I just want a girl who's ideal for me right now.

Dear friends

"I like to fuck every day every night
I like to fuck when it's wrong when it's right
I like to fuck if she's black if she's white
I like to fuck if it's loose if it's tight"

Please everyone must listen to this song because I have to admit, this is like the most awesome song ever right now. No joke! Excuse the crude language. Made a new mix tape today with cousin Stanley. I think spring and summer are my rock music seasons and rnb occupies the other two seasons however this mix begs to differ. Precautionary warning. This is filled with baby-making music. So I will try my best to upload it somewhere.

Bye friends
Andre

Epiphany

I do not intend to create a long post, but a small reminder to myself of an epiphany I experienced during church a couple days ago. While at church I started to daze off, sorry higher ups, but I had some things on my mind.

I guess this sudden moment of realisation was triggered by a pretty girl my cousin Ron and I had noticed sitting in front of us during mass (sorry Lucy haha). We were fascinated by this girl - or at least I certainly was. I seriously probably fantasized (maybe imagined sounds slightly less stalker) about every possible detail about this girl, even how I could approach her somehow. Then I stopped and wondered why the hell I find myself obsessing over girls so easily. Is my whole life a cat and mouse chase? The majority of the decisions I make or plans and goals I aim to achieve have somehow all ended up being inspired by girls, whether it be my mum, friends or more than friend type things.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that, all my faults can be blamed on women of all sorts haha, and all my achievements could not be possible with the leading women in my life. Ultimately, the man I become is a result of all the women surrounding my life.

Ahhh I love girls. What a wonderful epiphany.
PS. This was a great night.

Who are you?

To my readership (if one exists),

I guess this should've been the first blog I posted but I got carried away too soon. While thinking what to base this blog about I heard the TV song that goes "Who are youu who who who who" know that song? hehe. But anyway, I thought it would be only fitting that I tell you who I am so you better understand the guy who writes about life, love and shares his triumphs and battles here. People construct their identities against an Other. So let me tell you some of the things I'm not, the things I don't do and the things I don't like.

I wasn't given a middle name. I don't go clubbing every weekend. I'm not a drug user. I don't really follow up on any tv shows. I'm never early. I don't enjoy winter as much as the other seasons. I don't get British comedy. I am not a kept man. I am not superstitious. I don't like talking to opinionated people who can't back up their arguments. I'm not super good at blowing bubbles from bubble gum. Perhaps it was for people like me that chewing gum was created? I don't remember names. I don't enjoy working 9 to 5 jobs.

It's funny how who you are has as much to do with who you're not. But to me, the funniest thing of all is the concept of dipping potato chips into more potato... and gravy hahaha. Thanks for your time.

This modern love

The two hands reach out amazed with a tension, another in love, one in redemption. He was the only, lonely unseen, she was the giver and that it had been. As it was told, a story with words soon to unfold, a contract unearthed, a sorrow that dazed, gave a gaze unto you. She was the dancer, he was her muse. Underlying with love, the jealous heart grew, but so it was calm, now that he knew. That all in the end, someone does tend a heart made of stone, love can't pretend.

Insight

Hey readers,
Today I guess i'll spill some little insight on my thoughts on a more 'serious' tone… well not specifically but more lengthy I supposed you could say. Set aside the introductory's and the update of my recent happenings in my quest in the U.S. and enter the mind of Andre.

*switch on: Foo Fighters - Everlong*
Currently i've been listening to this song non-stop, maybe as a sign of something cool going to happen or something i wish would happen. Either unexpected or not it seems like something great will soon come. Although this feeling could end up being something terrible, the war on terror (which I really hate) might come to my homeland shores, or the rise of China will overtake America's super civilization. Who knows!
So far, everything has gone pretty much great for me, from not being broke after spending loads of dosh in this wonderful country, my new found friends here and my health gradually getting better (workouts are the best). Although one thing really is now in need for attention, I know it may sound desperate or whatever and this is definately not a plea for some magical godess to come down and provide some instant cure..

*breathe out, so I can breathe you in*
No, but what i'm wishing is for someone who will give me that feeling of chase and accomplishment, i know it may sound bad but the journey of it all, starting off with simple text messages then gradually booming into marriage, thats right the big M word. With our ages now (hopefully teens) we have a decade to somehow find the right one, it seems old fashioned seeing as divorce is so easy to do, giving you another chance, but getting right in that first go, hole in one, thats what satisfies golfers (or mini golfers alike).

*If everything could feel this real forever*
Maybe like my dear mate said that we have to go out with as many girls as possible so in the end that one special girl would rise amongst others, or like my other friend who says you just know when its right. I'm not one to waste eachothers times, if I forsee that it is a mistake then I back off quickly, but maybe thats my problem I just look at the most possible negative outcomes making me curl up in a shell. Time will tell in the end, that one girl spotted in the crowd, when everything slows down and all you can do is just stop, that is probably the time when I know. Until that moment I can only enjoy what I do and jump to that one life changing opportunity.

*And i wonder…*
